NCC Cadets Focused on Plantation & Save Water
On 22 July 2019, the NCC cadets celebrated Vanamotsav at Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 3 Jhansi. Under the leadership of NCC Officer Mueen Akhtar, they performed various activities focusing on plantation & water conservation. The main programs for the day were the short skit, plantation, and awareness rally.
Short Skit by NCC Cadets
On behalf of the National Cadet Corps and Eco Club of Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 3 Jhansi, plants were planted on a large scale in the school premises. In the beginning, the NCC unit & Eco Club staged a short play in which, they emphasized doing more and more plantation. They also emphasized preserving the tree. They showed these important messages. The children showed the reasons for the destruction of forest wealth in a very sensitive way through their actions. In this short skirt, the students from primary to secondary classes took part in a great spirit. In the end, everyone presented on the school campus, enjoyed this short play a lot.
NCC Seminar on Forest Conservation and Save Water
After the short skit, the NCC Officer Mueen Akhtar inspected the NCC unit. While addressing the cadets, NCC Officer Mueen Akhtar shared some important information on the topic of Save Water and Plantation. He said that trees are an essential and necessary part of our life. We should plant and preserve at least one tree in our lives. To make this promise meaningful, all of us will plant one tree today. Speaking on the utility of water, A N O Mueen Akhtar said that we have to avoid wasting water. We should make all possible efforts to save it.
Before his speech, some senior cadets also expressed their views on the same topics. They also took the oath to follow one person one plant
formula to encourage plantation. Many cadets brought plants with them to the school campuses. Chitra Tomar, the senior cadet delivered a wonderful speech on saving water. Particularly, She explained the importance of water in a very easy and beautiful way.
NCC Awareness rally
NCC Cadets served in the NCC rally led by Officer Mueen Akhtar. In this rally, they made the people aware of school about water conservation & forest conservation. All the cadets enthusiastically repeated the slogans chanted by Mueen Akhtar. They worked tirelessly to make everyone aware during the rally. Eco Club also joined shoulder to shoulder-with this rally. The rally was inaugurated by Jaswant Singh, Deputy Principal of the school. Over there, Mr. A. K. Aggarwal, Niti Shastri, Kirti Shrivastava, Ajay Singh, S.K. K. shy. K. Gupta, Yashwant Singh, A. Phukela, Praveen Singh, Neelu Gautam, Aparna Shukla, Surekha Pathak, Deepti Kashyap, and Subroto Dubey were also special contributors.
Tree planting program
After the rally, all the NCC cadets planted many trees under the guidance of NCC Officer Mueen Akhtar. Apart from the NCC unit, Yashwant Singh also planted a large number of plants inside the school premises together with the children of his class. The enthusiasm of the children in the plantation was noticeable. Overall, about 150 plants were planted in the school with the efforts of all.
